Hello, I’m Millie — it’s lovely to meet you!
I’m Yorkshire born and bred, and I’ve lived in York for most of my life — Haxby, to be exact! I absolutely love where I live, and it means so much to be able to offer beauty treatments to my local community. There’s something really special about getting to know the people around you and helping them feel their best — whether it’s a quick pamper or a full self-care session. I’ve always had a love for art and anything creative, ever since I was young. That creative streak eventually led me into the beauty world — a place where I can combine artistry, precision, and connection every single day. |

For years, I offered a full range of beauty treatments — everything from massage and hot stone therapy to Indian head massage and beyond. That experience gave me such a wide appreciation for all the different ways beauty and wellbeing can make people feel good. Over time, I refined and perfected the treatments I truly love to perform, blending my favourite elements from different therapies to create the treatment menu I offer today.
I’m fully trained across all areas of beauty, and I love staying inspired. I attend several training courses each year, along with online seminars, exhibitions, and collaborative workshops. The beauty industry moves fast — just like fashion — and I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends, techniques, and designs. Learning new things keeps my creativity flowing and ensures every treatment I offer feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully done. |

Creativity is a big part of my life both inside and outside the salon. I adore design, film, theatre, and music — anything that tells a story or captures imagination. I think that same love for creativity shines through in my work and the way I approach each appointment.
My mum was a hairdresser, so I grew up surrounded by the wonderful buzz of salon life — the friendly chatter, the laughter, and the connections made over the years. That sense of warmth and community is something I’ve carried with me and try to bring into every client experience. I genuinely love getting to know people, hearing about their lives, and creating a space where you can relax, unwind, and maybe have a little giggle along the way. And because I’m a huge animal lover, it’s really important to me that all the products and treatments I use are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free — beauty should always be kind. |
